About Arka

Arka is a project and contract control system for solar EPC. The resource assessment, the schedule, the running-account bill and the record behind them sit on one spine, built for the way Indian EPC actually bills: retention, advances, GST on the net, TDS on the gross, each rate kept on the transaction that used it.

Arka is a Norvis product

Norvis is the company; Arka is its first product. The name is from the Latin norma, the carpenter’s square, the tool a builder trusts to check a right angle, and the brand line says the rest: run it tight. Norvis builds project systems for the energy transition on one contract chain, resource to schedule to rupee to record. Solar is the vertical that is live. Wind, storage, green hydrogen and bagasse cogeneration are on the same drawing, each named, and each will rebuild only the physics at the top of the chain, because that is the only part that changes.

Who builds it

Norvis is one founder and an AI engineering system working under written protocols. That is the whole company, and we would rather tell you that than invent a floor of desks. Every change is built, then attacked by a review whose starting assumption is that the change is wrong, then verified on the running product with real roles before it ships. The protocols are binding, not aspirational: a change that skips a step does not go out.

Live, complete, and honest about being new

Arka is in production and complete end to end: the bill of quantities, the running-account bills, the tax on every line and the record behind them, exercised against a real solar EPC contract’s full paperwork rather than against invented rows. What we do not have yet is a paying customer, and we would rather say that plainly than let this page imply one. Client names appear on this site only with written permission, and the first one goes here the day it is ours to publish.

The doctrine

Every sentence on this site is a claim about the product, and a claim is published only after it has been checked against the code that would make it true. That rule has teeth. Our own front page carries no client logos and no megawatt total, because neither is ours to claim yet. Inside the product the same discipline holds: the audit log only ever grows, an issued invoice freezes and is corrected by credit note rather than edited, and a role sees exactly what its permissions grant and nothing more.

Where we are

Built in India, run from Mumbai, priced in rupees. We are early and independent, and we are building for the long term. If a small team that tells you exactly what its product does sounds better than a large one that rounds up, try it.
